Welcome everyone, to our Weekend Recap for our Ryan Boys’ Track and Field team! Here we will take a deep dive into this past weekend’s action at the TFCAofGP meet at Lehigh University! The boys had a good day with some progress and a Meet of Champs Qualifier!

Leading off our day on the track was our youngsters in the Freshman/Sophomore 4x400m! The team of Jack Dunne ’24, Sean Mooney ’25, Andy Deng ’25, and Nicholas Davido ’24 ran a tough team time of 4:49.25. Here is the split breakdown:

Jack: 69

Sean: 71

Andy: 72

Nick: 77

Starting the Sprint Program for us we had Joe Boberskyj ’24 in the 60m Dash. Joe did not disappoint with a Career PR of 8.98! In the 60m Hurdles we had rookie Corey Demas ’25. Corey put down a quick 10.32! Following the 60m Hurdles, we had the 200m Dash on the track. University of Vermont commit Brendon Huebner ’22 looked primed to run fast. Brendon took 4^th overall with a time of 23.52 which is a Meet of Champs Qualifier, a new Indoor PR, and 0. 92 off the Archbishop Ryan Indoor School Record!

In the 400m, we had Deven Salvatore ’23 take to the track. Deven ran a gutsy performance and finished with a Season Best 58.3. That wrapped up our open sprinting events, and we now transition to the Mid-Distance and Distance events!

In the 800m, we had two athletes competing in Andrei Frigura ’22 and Ben Johnson ’22. Andrei and Ben both looked to improve this season and improve they did! Andrei ran a strong new Indoor PR with a 2:06 and Ben also ran a new Career PR in 2:13!

Following those performances, Luke Contino ’22 also looked to take advantage of the momentum that our team has been running with. Luke tied his Career PR in the Mile with a 5:32! That wrapped up the distance program for us on Saturday, next we will look at the relays and field results!

Our 4x200m consisting of Brendon Huebner ’22, Tymir Bradley ’22, Corey Demas ’25, and Rich Paczewski ’23 ran a very fast team time of 1:38.66 which was .42 off of Meet of Champs Qualifying! Here is the split breakdown:

Brendon: 23.06 (Indoor PR)

Tymir: 26.1

Corey: 24.8 (Career PR)

Rich: 24.2 (Career PR)

Following was our 4x400m with a team of Andrei Frigura ’22, Deven Salvatore ’23, Ben Johnson ’22, and Bishop Norman ’25. Our boys ran a hard 3:57! Here is the split breakdown:

Andrei: 56.6 (Indoor PR)

Deven: 58.5

Ben: 58.7

Bishop: 63 (Career Debut)

Wrapping up the meet for us we have our Field results! In the Long Jump we had Jack Dunne jump 14-03! In the Triple Jump we had Tymir Bradley make his season debut with a 36-04.75! In High Jump we had Rich Paczewski ’23 clear 5-4! Last but certainly not least, we had Jake Kelly in the Shot Put throw 33-05.25!

They Boys look to build off of these performances as our team transitions into championship week with PCL Champs on February 13^th!
